Jerry & Pete

Yankee South is the brain child of two transplanted northerners  who have come to love living in the South.  Jerry from Framingham, Ma, is sober 19 years.  Mary Sue (known as Pete) is from Butler, PA. and is sober 22 years.  They met through friends in AA and have been together 5 years.

Both have a passion for recovery and helping addicts.  Jerry has written a book about recovery, and is the songwriter/singer on a CD he  had produced locally at Classic Recording Studios in Bristol, VA. Pete is an alchohol and drug counselor.

They live with their 4 "kids", 2 Rotweillers, Buddy and Shady Sadie, a mid sized mutt Chase, and the devil dog toy fox terrier, Cooper.  Jerry has an 18 year old daughter, Nicole, the love of his life.  Pete's daughter, Jessica, is 26 and  her best friend.  They both still live in the North, and haven't succumbed to the charms of Southern living yet, but we're still hoping!!  Both Jerry and Pete have become rabid Nascar fans, which seems natural since they live 8 miles from Bristol Motor Speedway.  As far as they are concerned,  God's vision of heaven must be Virginia/Tennessee, because these two feel like they're in the Garden of Eden.
